What is a Schematic Floor Plan?

A Schematic Floor Plan is a simplified visual layout of a property’s interior. It shows the basic structure, room sizes, and layout—designed to help buyers understand how a space is organized, not to provide exact measurements or construction details. You will be provided with two versions, one with measurements, another one without.

Limitations

  • Room sizes and total square footage are estimated based on on-site measurements. These are not suitable for renovation, architectural, or legal use.
  • Our schematic floor plan may differ from MPAC data, builder floor plans, or original blueprints due to renovations, layout changes, or varying measurement methods. We CANNOT alter the measurements.
  • Ceiling height is NOT measured or included.
  • Measurements are limited to the interior of the property only. NO common areas.
  • We CANNOT create a floor plan without measurements.
